Caesars Entertainment President and CEO Mark Frissora said bookings were already streaming in for the new Caesars Forum, which will open in 2020 along the Sunset Strip within walking distance of 20,000 Caesars hotel rooms. The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) honored Access Intelligence LLC CEO Don Pazour with its 2018 Legend of the Industry award during the Krakoff Leadership Institute (KLI) held at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center in Savannah, Ga. Pazour is known as a leader who was instrumental in a host of acquisitions that helped build trade show portfolios. He launched his media career as an editor of a mining magazine, which led to launching a mining summit in Mexico. Since then, he has led numerous acquisitions that helped build trade show portfolios. Former Director General of the Cintermex convention center Jesus Manuel Franco Abascal, who ran the center from its opening in 1991 into 2010, died July 11.
